“Corail de la Mer” Linen Bias Fringed Top & Shorts

Description

In the dead of winter, we all yearn for the warm days ahead. I started this weave in the duldrum days of March 2025, and I wasn’t sure what it was going to be, although I did have initial thoughts of a shorts set. And it turned out that this was exactly what this weave wanted to become! I turned everything on the bias and left the asymmetric fringed front edge (how could I ever chop that off?!) The set is about a size 12, with bias flexibility in the fabric to accommodate a small range of sizes. Fabic is a delicious mix of linen, cotton, silk, rayon, and bamboo.
