Off-the-chain hand-dyed bright, hot pink! Kid mohair is luxury beyond most fibers, and it’s become my absolute favorite! Gorgeous, silky-soft “Elsa Pink” kid mohair curly locks were corespun along with a gorgeous dark purple merino/silk blend for a stunning 114-yd combo-spin that is varied and unexpected! Just a touch of sparkle peeks out of the locks, and the bright pop of hot pink, magenta, and violet beg to be seen in your next weave or fun knit project…definitely soft enough for next-to-skin wear! The coordinating yarn is 48 yds of just the incredibly-soft kid mohair locks, corespun and then plied with a gorgeous Japanese kimono silk thread. A total of 162 yds, both yarns can also be purchased separately.

There is something so utterly magical about spinning individual, shiny-soft locks of gorgeous fleece, be it mohair, Lincoln lamb, Teeswater, or Wensleydale. The incredibly soft clouds are just heavenly! When you combine this fiber with the gorgeous custom rovings created by my favorite fiber artists, you get a “combo spin” of luxurious color and softness. Then, I like to take just the locks, and spin them by themselves, plying with Japanese kimono silk thread for a sweet coordinating yarn that dances beautifully with the main yarn. This “duet” of artisan yarn is ready and waiting for your next weave or project!
