“Tweedy” Hand-Dyed Silk Noil/Neps

Great for adding tweed and texture effects to your fiber work! Silk noil is a waste product from silk production. It is very “matte” before it is washed and dyed, and takes on a very subtle sheen after dyeing. It is very short-stapled, so it’s great for blended effects, and you can even spin it, too! Weights vary, each piece is unique! It’s inexpensive,  and an ounce gives you a lot of fiber…Buy an ounce, or buy the whole piece.  Sold by the half-ounce.
